In Pilluralli 2001, passers-by were asked to jump into the back of a darkened van for a ride. I drove, Vera danced. The work did not have a fixed script, each trip was unique. On the way, visible to the public only through the camera obscura of the van, Vera was seen dancing. The lens was very sensitive to light fluctuations and only worked when there was enough light, so we made a sign:
“If the sun is shining, we will drive”.
