-In 2010, the City Museum’s commissioned public work “Too Heavy Guests” was completed on the Slmisaari beach boulevard.
The work deals with six huge figures I have worked with a few blasting stones and scrap metal.
The 3-5 m tall figures bring nature’s physical strength, randomness and sense of security to the middle of the urban landscape.
The stones originate from the cliffs of Vuosaari, Käärmeniemi and Miljoonamäki, which were removed to make way for the new harbour area.
